• Grafton Police Stats In August: Over 250 Stops, 300 Citations (patch.com) — Grafton residents can see how busy local police were in August, with officers making 31 arrests or criminal summonses, 259 traffic stops and issuing 308 citations. The department also handled 31 crashes, dozens of medical emergencies, alarms and disturbances, plus several identity theft, mental health and breaking-and-entering calls, offering a snapshot of public safety activity in town.
   

• MA Residents Told To Squish Spotted Lanternflies As Pest Spreads (patch.com) — Spotted lanternflies have been confirmed in Grafton, and state agriculture officials are urging you to kill any you see and report new sightings. Residents can check an online infestation map, learn how to recognize adults and egg masses, and submit photos if they find the insects in unlisted areas to help slow the spread across Massachusetts.
