Community Chorus Spring Concert

Apple Tree Arts  showcases the talents of its Community Chorus performing a concert of American music. Tickets will be available at the door.

The 30-member chorus sings classic  George and Ira Gershwin’s tunes including “Embraceable You” and “Summertime" from the play “Porgy and Bess.”  

Additional songs featured are “Mountain Music” by Randy Owen and “Fields of Gold” by Sting.  Paul Simon’s and Art Garfunkel’s classic ballad “Bridge Over Troubled Waters" will be sung along with  “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother.”   “Defying Gravity” from the popular Broadway show “Wicked" rounds out the program.

Accomplished faculty member Tina Ho will accompany the chorus on each number. Several instrumentalists will play as well.
