Grafton Family Ties: The Town's Got Connections to the Beach Boys

Grafton's got a tie to surf music, namely the Beach Boys in the name of Gary Usher, according to Wikipedia.com. 

Usher spent his early years in Grafton and graduated high school in Westborough. He landed in California, where he was a musician in the '50s, but then began writing and producing some hits for a bunch of surf rock artists. According to Wikipedia, he was the "earliest outside collaborators of Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, and co-wrote more than 10 of their hits. He also produced some records for the Byrds and Dick Dale.
