Local Author Signs Copies of 'Grafton'

A local author launches the new 'Grafton' book with a booksigning and talk.

GRAFTON, MA —Local author Linda Marean Casey is at the Grafton Public Library on Tuesday, May 10, at 7 p.m. to talk about the new book "Grafton."

She'll talk about this new book that tells a story in pictures is "Grafton," the newest addition to Arcadia Publishing’s popular Images of America series. The book by Linda Marean Casey and the Grafton Historical Society is set to release on May 2.

The book boasts 200 vintage images and showcases memories of days gone by, said the announcement. Most of the images have come from the Grafton Historical Society's extensive collection, but many images have been donated from private collections of Grafton residents.

Images of buildings that have been long gone are shown, including the original meetinghouse built on the Common in 1735.
