9th Annual Community Block Party

Saturday, June 23 - 4-9pm Hamilton-Wenham Library Bike decorating event - 3-4pm Bike Parade - 4pm

Kick-off summer with family and friends at the 9th Annual Community Block Party on Saturday, June 23 from 4-9pm. There will be fun for the entire family at Patton Park with FUNtastic activities for kids and toddlers, craft vendors, food trucks (4-8pm), and DJ Marty Miserandino providing entertainment through the fireworks display at dusk. Over at The Community House, adults can enjoy a laid-back lawn party featuring a cash bar (4-8:30pm) and live entertainment by Orville Giddings Band (4-8pm).

Family fun begins at the Hamilton-Wenham Library where they will be hosting a bike decorating event from 3-4pm. Decorations will be provided by the library.

At 4pm, the Community Block Party will commence with the annual Bike Parade from the Hamilton-Wenham Library to Patton Park escorted by the Hamilton Police and Fire Departments.

Crystal Entertainment and The Community House will be offering a variety of special rides, activities and inflatables for kids and toddlers with the purchase of wristbands. There will be food for sale provided by Cookie Monstah, Gilbert’s Ice Cream Truck, A&B Burgers, American BBQ and Ipswich Clambake.

Community sponsors have again come together with activities for the kids! Monkey Bridge (Scout Troop #35), Face Painting and Tattoos (HW Volleyball Boosters), Dunk Tank (Dunkin Donuts of Hamilton with proceeds going to the Acord Food Pantry). New this year, kids will be able to plant their very own kid-friendly, summer annual to take home (Cole Landscaping, Inc.) and The Community House’s Photo Spot where you can don some cool props and take a crazy photo!

The Town of Hamilton will once again provide a spectacular finale with Fireworks at dusk!

Be sure to enter The Community House’s Annual Raffle! We are going green this year with the Grand Prize being some green - $5,000! 2nd Prize – $500 - 3rd Prize – $250 - 4th Prize – $150 – The drawing will be held prior to the fireworks on Saturday, June 23. You need not be present to win. Up to 300 chances sold. Tickets: $100 each

The Community Block Party will be celebrated on Sunday, June 23 from 4-9pm at Patton Park and The Community House, Bay Road Route 1A Hamilton. (rain date Sunday, June 24) The event will commence with a Bike Parade. Parade participants please gather at HAMILTON-WENHAM LIBRARY by 3:45pm (3pm for bike decorating). $20 wristbands will be available for purchase for special rides and activities, $10 wristbands for toddlers 2 and under.
