Pingree School Opens Registration for Adult Education Classes

announces an evening and weekend adult education program for members of the community.

"Pingree Masters" will offer a variety courses on campus. Some courses will be taught by Pingree faculty and others by experienced teachers and professionals.

"All will maintain the same high instructional quality and academic integrity that defines the Pingree learning experience," according to Director of Institutional Partnerships Rebecca Borden. "We expect this program to grow exponentially and cultivate a love of learning across the North Shore. We foresee Pingree becoming the hub for adult learning on the North Shore."

The program begins this spring with a few pilot courses. Courses run for a six-week semester. The spring 2011 semester starts the week of April 4 and ends the week of May 9. Some courses are weekend intensives. Most courses start at 6:30 p.m. and last two hours. Enrollment in the spring 2011 semester is open until March 28.  The cost ranges from $90 to $205 per course. There are plans to develop a Summer 2011 Semester. Teaching a Pingree Masters course is not limited to just Pingree faculty. Anyone interested in offering a course should contact Rebecca Borden at rborden@pingree.org or at 978-468-4415 x255.
