Generals Swept in Semifinals, Bedford Headed to Division 3 North Final
The Generals won a nail-biter quarterfinal game before falling to the Bucs.
The Bedford High School boys tennis team knocked off Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School on Wednesday and the Bucs are headed to the Division 3 North final.
The fourth-seeded Generals were swept, 5-0, by No. 8 Bedford. So far, in the tournament, Bedford boys have beaten their opponents 14-1, including knocking off the number one seed Manchester Essex that had an undefeated regular season.
The Generals got to Wednesday's match with a nailbitingg 3-2 win over Austin Prep on Tuesday and end the season at 11-4. The Bucs are 14-7 headed into the sectional finals.

Bedford will next take on No. 3 Weston for the Division 3 North title on Saturday at a neutral site.
