Announcing This Year's 6th Congressional District High School Art Competition Awards

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of hosting this year's 6th Congressional District High School Art Awards at Montserrat College of Art.

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of hosting this year’s 6th Congressional District High School Art Awards at Montserrat College of Art. It was a privilege to view the products of so many talented artists. Fostering creativity is a critical part of our cultural development, and this competition is an excellent way to showcase students’ unique skills. This year’s winning piece, "Lost" by Riley McCarthy will hang in the U.S. Capitol, among the winning creations from all over the nation. I look forward to seeing it among the premiere works from other young artists from across the country for the next year.

The award winners are as follows:

GRAND PRIZE: Riley McCarthy, "LOST"
