North Shore Swim Club: Halloween Classic

NSSC: Halloween Classic

Brightly colored leaves, candy, costumes, witches and swim meets - that is what Salem is made of in October, at least for the kids that swim on North Shore Swim Club.

This past weekend North Shore Swim Club hosted its 16th annual Halloween Classic Swim Meet at Salem State University. The meet was comprised of 12 teams from around the New England area. Of those 12 teams North Shore Swim Club had 180 swimmers racing over the two and a half day meet, with all the heat winners walking away with pockets full of their favorite Halloween Fun Sized Candies.

This is one of NSSC’s biggest area hosted meets, this also one of the favorite meets for the team, and the teams that come to it. This meet is all that NSSC is about, showing up having a good time, and racing for the fun of it, and getting a little silly with holiday.
