Buker Elementary School announces spring auction

Buker in Bloom will be held May 12 at The Community House

The Friends of Buker Elementary School in Wenham will hold their spring fundraiser the evening of Saturday, May 12 at The Community House in Hamilton. This year’s event, Buker in Bloom, will feature a silent and live auction, entertainment, food and spirits.

The funds raised by Buker in Bloom will go directly toward student enrichment at Buker including sponsorship of cultural programs, educational materials, and additional resources. The auction, held every other year, is the school’s largest fundraiser.

According to Jess Roy and Kristin Sleeper, Buker in Bloom co-chairs, the event will draw hundreds of parents and community members together for a night of camaraderie and laughter. “Buker in Bloom provides the perfect opportunity for Buker parents and friends of the school to enjoy a wonderful evening while supporting a vital cause in our community,” said Roy.

“Thanks to the generous support of local businesses, our auction will feature a variety of exciting items up for bid. We are looking forward to making this the most successful year yet,” added Sleeper.
