The Community Block Party will commence at 4pm with a Bike Parade and Covered Wagon Contest. The parade will begin at the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library, onto Union Street to Patton Park. The Covered Wagon Contest will be sponsored by the Wenham Museum in commemoration of our local history. On December 3, 1797, the first covered wagon from Massachusetts set forth from Hamilton for the west.

A Patriotic Tribute led by A. P. Gardner American Legion Post #194 and Commander Gregory McKenna will celebrate the birth of our nation. Community sponsors have come together to supply loads of fun for the kids! Bouncy House and Slide (HW Recreation), Cow Pie Bingo (HW Football Boosters), Monkey Bridge (Scout Troop #35), Face Painting and Patriotic Tattoos (HW Volleyball Boosters), Dunk Tank (Dunkin Donuts of Hamilton), Bike Rodeo (Kiwanis Club of Beverly), Giant Games (The Community House), Patriotic Craft (Acord Food Pantry) and Much More will be available for all to enjoy!
