Community Servings, now in its 25th year, is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. They give their clients, their dependent families, and caregivers appealing, nutritious meals, and send the message to those in greatest need that someone cares. Their goals are to help their clients maintain their health and dignity and preserve the integrity of their families through free, culturally appropriate, home-delivered meals, nutrition education, and other community programs.
As we approach the “Season of Giving”, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and Digitas are again partnering with Pie in the Sky to raise money to support Community Servings this Thanksgiving. My CBRB colleagues and I will be selling Pie in the Sky pies (these pies are hands down amazing!) to support Community Servings, with 93 cents of every dollar spent going directly to support of the population in need. I would love to sell you a pie or three to take with you to wherever you and your family gather to celebrate Thanksgiving. But more about THAT in the coming weeks. Right now...please take 4:29 to learn about Community Servings.

History of Pie in the Sky
In 1993, members of the restaurant community -- who lost many friends and colleagues to AIDS -- conceptualized and launched Pie in the Sky. Knowing how food can improve someone’s emotional and physical well-being, Pie in the Sky was an ideal way for Boston’s chefs, caterers, and restaurateurs to support Community Servings’ clients. As our mission has expanded to serve people struggling with any life-threatening illness, our friends in the restaurant community have stood by us. Through their generosity, Pie in the Sky is now the World’s Greatest Bake Sale -- raising 15% of Community Servings’ private fundraising revenue! We are deeply grateful for their ongoing support and encourage you to frequent their establishments.
