WENHAM, MA — Wenham extended its closures of outdoor facilities to the public in accordance with Gov. Charlie Baker's announcement on Tuesday that the state's stay-at-home order has been extended through May 18.

Wenham's Board of Selectmen and Board of Health voted to extend the closures on Tuesday night. Wenham has 27 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in town, as of Monday.

Out of an abundance of caution, the Town of Wenham -- in close coordination with the Town of Hamilton and the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District -- closed town offices and facilities to the public on March 16, and declared a state of emergency on March 20.
