Corsino writes song for International Summit

Walnut Hill School for the Arts senior, Gabrielle Corisno, writes song for International Summit

Walnut Hill School for the Arts senior, Gabrielle Corsino, was asked by founder Katie Koestner, Take Back The Night Foundation; to compose an anthem song for the first International Summit Against Sexual Violence. The International Summit Against Sexual Violence was held at the campus of Fordham University in NYC this past July 2016. Diplomats and organizations from across the globe attended the international summit. Corsino was asked to perform, "You've Got A Song" at the Summits sold out performance "Get Noisy" event. The song will be featured on the Take Back The Nights first album release. The album is being produced to raise funds to support the Take Back The Night Foundations global awareness campaign. Corsino has performed to sold out audiences at the Hard Rock Cafe, Middle East, Common Ground, B.B.King NYC and has several singles on iTunes and Sound Cloud. Corsino is writing a new single with Berklee College of Music graduate singer-songwriter Eric Leva which will be featured on her new EP released 2017! Corsino would like to ask Patch.com readers to support the Take Back The Night Foundation by sending contributions to help support their global campaign to help raise awareness about sexual violence, particularly prevalent on college campuses today in the United States.
