Credit Scoring: Know the Rules of the Game! North Shore Business Forum presentation, 10/2/15, Acapulcos, Cummings Ctr Beverly
Guest speaker Kim Carpentier, Valley Credit Repair explains the personal credit industry, highlighting key issues for small business owners.

Kim’s presentation on “Credit Scoring: Know the Rules of the Game” will cover the three major credit bureaus and how FICO relates to them. He’ll explain how information flows from data providers to the credit bureaus to FICO and back to the data providers. You’ll learn how the dispute process works, and what to do when there are mistakes on your credit report. This matters because having a strong credit report and corresponding credit score allows you to save thousands of dollars, in interest fees, over time.
About the Speaker: Kim Carpentier is the owner and general manager of Valley Credit Repair in Lawrence, MA, which offers credit repair and credit coaching services to individuals and small business owners.
