Dates You Need to Know for the Hamilton-Wenham 2015-16 School Year
Sure summer is in full swing right now, but the school year will be back before you know it.
It’s a holiday weekend, and sitting at a desk taking notes is the last thing on students’ minds. But the start of the new school year will be here before you know it, and below are some important 2015-16 dates for the Hamiton-Wenham Regional School District.
- Sept. 1 - Opening Day for Teachers
- Sept, 2 - Teacher’s Workshop
- Sept.2 - Orientation for Grades 6 & 9
- Sept. 8 - Opening Day ALL Students
- Oct. 12 - Columbus Day-no school
- Nov. 2 - Teacher Workshop - no school
- Nov. 11 - Veterans Day - no school
- Nov. 25 - Early Dismissal (11:15 a.m., elementary; 12:05 p.m., middle and high schools)
- Nov. 26 & 27 - Thanksgiving Recess - no school
- December 24-Jan 3 - Winter recess - no school
