David A. Caruso, Peter C. Gourdeau and Lisa McNamara Join North Shore United Way Board of Directors

Hamilton resident Peter C. Gourdeau and Wenham residents David Caruso and Lisa McNamara, join the Board of the North Shore United Way.

Dave Caruso is Founding Chairman and Managing Director of Coastal Capital Group LLC, a private wealth management firm based in Danvers. He has spent four decades in the advisory business and has earned much recognition, including being named a 5-Star Wealth Manager in the Boston area in 2010, 2011 and 2013. He is the co-author of two books on personal finance and money management and appears on many regional and national television and radio stations including being the Financial Editor for WBZ radio for the last 15 years. Dave previously served on the Board of the Boston chapter of the Financial Planning Association and is a member of the Boston Chapter of UMASS Amherst’s Isenberg Leadership Committee. He has taught various courses at local colleges and continues to educate adults and children through seminars on the topic of money. He received his B.A. in finance from UMASS Amherst and is a designated CFP. Dave lives in Wenham with his wife Diane and two children, Laura & Alex.

Peter has been a Project Executive at Windover Construction since 2012, where he is responsible for the overall management and direction of a portfolio of projects. He was previously Senior Vice President of Gourdeau Limited, Inc. and was a Vice President within Bank of Boston’s Land Development Group. He is Director of the Salem Five Cents Savings Bank and the Salem Five Bancorp, and a member of the Audit Committee. Peter is also President of Hamilton-Wenham Youth Lacrosse. He earned his M.B.A. from Kellogg Graduate School of Management and an A.B. from Bowdoin College. Peter lives in Hamilton with his wife and three children.

Lisa is the co-chair of the North Shore United Way’s Women Action initiative. Prior to that, she spent twelve years, including six as President, on the Board of the Manchester Sailing Association. She was also a Board Member with the Wenham Village Improvement Society for six years and spent eight years as a Girl Scout leader. Professionally, Lisa previously served as a lawyer in a mid-size Boston law firm for seven years and taught legal research and writing at Boston University for twelve years before moving on to North Shore Community College and teaching in their Paralegal Program. She has degrees from Boston University School of Law and Dartmouth College. Lisa lives in Wenham with her husband and has three grown children.
