Do You Have Your Pleasant Pond Beach Sticker Yet?

Fishing and swimming season is here. Are you ready to enjoy Pleasant Pond?

Pleasant Pond is open for business... well, pleasure, really.

Hamilton and Wenham residents can purchase their beach stickers at the Wenham Police Station or the town clerk’s office at Wenham Town Hall during regular business hours (9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. on Fridays.

Stickers are $25 for the first vehicle and $10 for each additional vehicle. Residents ages 65 and older can get a sticker for $10 with no charge for additional stickers. When applying for a sticker, residents should bring the completed application as well as their vehicle registration.

Recreation hours at the pond are from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily and the beach is “swim at your own risk” (no lifeguards on duty). Fisherman are not permitted to fish from the beach area. Check out the complete list of Pleasant Pond rules online.

While stickers are limited to Hamilton and Wenham residents, there are a few fishermen parking spaces open to anyone with a Massachusetts fishing license, as required by law.

The beach at the end of Pleasant Street in Wenham can also be accessed via a path from Lake Drive in Hamilton.
