Celebrate the Outdoors on National Public Lands Day by volunteering! Join Essex County Trail Association, REI and the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) to remove debris and make repairs along the Accessible Trail in Bradley Palmer State Park. We will also clear back overgrowth along the perimter of Moon Hill.
After all the FUN working, we'll gather together for lunch and celebrate our accomplishments.
Volunteers should wear sturdy footwear, long pants and work gloves. If you have them, please bring tools such as shovels and metal rakes (for trail work) or loppers and handsaws (for brush work). Remember to dress for the weather and wear bug repellant!
Water, snacks and lunch will be provided. REI Tech volunteer shirts will be given to all who register in advance!
