Pan-Ipswich Challenge

Essex County Trail Association is holding the 3nd Annual ECTA Pan-Ipswich Challenge on Saturday May 5th. Our 20 mile walk or run from the west end of Ipswich (Hood Pond) to the coast (Steep Hill Beach) will highlight some of the best trails and open lands on the North Shore.  We will cross through Willowdale State Forest, Bradley Palmer State Park, Greenbelt's Pingree Reservation, The Trustees' Appleton Farms, New England Biolabs, Maplecroft Trail then down Argilla Road to the Trustees' Steep Hill Beach.

Please join us, or if you can't make the walk, please make a pledge to support the event.  Walkers will leave Hood Pond at 8am, and runners will leave at 10:30 am.   There will be a mid-way refreshment stop and a post-walk/run celebration at Steep Hill Beach.  Not up for the 20 miles?  Join us for the first or second half!

All participants in the Pan-Ipswich Challenge are asked to raise a minimum of $100 on behalf of ECTA.

Please visit www.ectaonline.org for more information!
