Dr. John Yates, an instrumental figure in the U.S. Anglican renewal movement, along with his wife, Susan, will speak February 8 at the first 2012 spring Pastors’ Forum at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Entitled “The Surprising Workings of God,” this seminar will discuss how trusting God in all circumstances is essential if we are to maintain peace and confidence in the ministry. The Yates’ seminar will remind us to trust God in all circumstances by recognizing the various ways God has already been at work in our lives and ministries. Sessions include the following:

John Yates is Rector of The Falls Church in Falls Church, Virginia. His work over the years with Christian youth and families has especially equipped him as a spokesman about family life. He and his wife, Susan, who is also an accomplished author and speaker, are deeply involved in the Little Rock, Arkansas-based ministry, Family Life, and speak regularly at Weekend to Remember conferences around the country. Dr. Yates earned an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary and a D.Min. from Fuller Theological Seminary.
