Faculty Recital: Courtney Huffman, soprano with Stephanie Emberley, piano

Soprano Courtney Huffman joins forces with pianist Dr. Stephanie Emberley to present a dramatic program stretching the boundaries of the Classical vocal recital. Featuring some of the famous “war horses” of Richard Strauss along with more obscure pieces by Lili Boulanger and a semi-staged version of Libby Larsen’s riveting song cycle Try Me, Good King: The Last Words of the Wives of Henry VIII, it is sure to be an unforgettable evening of music.
