Flying Horse Outdoor Sculpture Show Returns

One of New England's largest outdoor sculpture exhibits opens this weekend in South Hamilton on the campus of Pingree School.

The sixth annual Flying Horse Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit will feature more than 45 works by 39 New England artists, all displayed on the 100-acre campus of Pingree School in South Hamilton, MA from September 5 to November 22, 2015. Sculptor Dale Rogers - perhaps best known for his large Cor-Ten dogs with bone shapes cut from their middles - is this year’s honorary chair. The exhibit is one of the largest outdoor sculpture shows in New England and includes pieces by artists whose work is in museums, galleries, and collections throughout the country.

The show is free and open to the public seven days a week during daylight hours. A full-color catalog is available in a “mailbox” on the campus. The public is invited to a reception with the artists on Saturday, September 26 at 11 a.m. in the school’s library.

Pingree School is located at 537 Highland Street, South Hamilton, MA. For more information, call 978-468-4415, email jklein@jkconsult.net, or go to www.pingree.org.
