Free Annual Swedish Yule Festival in Hamilton!

The Birka Lodge No. 732, V.O.A. of Hamilton invites the public to attend their annual Swedish Yule Fair at the Hamilton-Wenham Community House, Bay Road, Route 1A, in Hamilton on Saturday, November 28 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This traditional Swedish Yule Fair is held each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and features the Children’s’ Lucia Bride of Light Procession at 12 Noon. There will also be Swedish and American holiday music, colorful folk costumes and all the tastes, sights and sounds of the Scandinavian Christmas season.

This is a perfect place for some unique holiday shopping and fun. You will find imported and unique hand made items and gifts, linens, jewelry, wooden gnomes, Dala horses, pewter ornaments, customary straw decor, and much more. Sample warm glogg with gingerbread cookies or enjoy open-faced sandwiches and take home some delicious Scandinavian breads and pastries. Birka Lodge is a non-profit fraternal benefit association.
