The Generals volleyball team (1-4) took to five games before losing in Cape Ann League action on Tuesday afternoon at .

Volleyball:

North Reading 3-2; North Reading, 18-25; Hamilton-Wenham 25-15; North Reading, 12-25, Hamilton-Wenham 25-17; Hamilton-Wenham, 13-15.
Top performances came from Generals junior outside hitter Rachel Gershlack, sophomore defensive specialist Olivia Thornberg and senior outside hitter Monica Keating.

The team next faces Masconomet High School on Friday night in Boxford.

Golf:

Hamilton-Wenham, 174; North Andover 152.

Ryan Richard was a medalist with 37 points as the Generals remained undefeated (5-0) versus the Scarlet Knights at golf course. Generals Luke Farley had 32 points and Tom Conville had 33 points.

The team's next match is at home on Friday versus Amesbury.
