Generals Sports Roundup: Golf Stays Undefeated
In Generals sports action on Friday, the golf team won to stay undefeated and the volleyball and girls' soccer team both lost at Masconomet.

The golf team remained undefeated after another win – this time over Amesbury at on Friday.

The Generals golf team (6-0) topped Amesbury on its home course at Myopia Hunt Club on Friday. Top scorers for Hamilton-Wenham were Luke Farley, 32; Tom Conville, 31; Luke Drieze, 31 and Ryan Richard, 29. The team next faces North Reading on Tuesday.

Masconomet, 2; Hamilton-Wenham 1
The Hamilton Wenham (1-4) girls’ soccer team lost to Masconomet Regional High School on Friday afternoon in Boxford. The Generals goal came from Alana Vecchiarello.
The team next faces North Reading on the road on Tuesday.
Volleyball:
Masconomet, 3; Hamilton-Wenham, 1.
The girls’ volleyball team (1-5) lost to Masconomet High School on Friday night in Boxford. The game scores were 18-25, 25-18, 15-25 and 17-25.
Junior outside hitter Rachel Gershlak had 17 digs, 19 serve receives with 11 of them perfect passes; junior setter Cassandra Fibbe had 19 serves and missed only one and senior middle hitter Keira McGrath had 35 hits with three errors and six aces.
The Generals face Peabody at home on Monday afternoon.
Football:
The Generals moved to 3-0 with a 18-6 win over Newburyport on Friday night. .
