Generals Sports Roundup: Two Big Soccer Wins on Tuesday
Wins by a score of 5-1 and 5-0 for the high school soccer teams highlighted the Generals sports action on Tuesday.

Both the boys’ and girls’ soccer teams at had big wins on Tuesday over Triton Regional High School.
Boys’ Soccer:
Hamilton-Wenham, 5; Triton, 0.

The boys’ soccer team moved within a win of a postseason birth on Tuesday with a 5-0 win over Triton Regional High School on the road.
Max Montanari lead the Generals (6-3-2) with two goals and an assist. Russell Gregorian and Charlie Serpa each had a goal and an assist and senior Ian Kelley also had a goal.

Seniors Luke Besse and Max Crystal combined for the shutout in the net.
The team next faces Pentucket Regional High School at home on Thursday at 3:45 p.m.
Girls’ Soccer:
Hamilton-Wenham, 5; Triton, 1.
The girls’ soccer team (4-7) got its second four goal win in less than a week on Tuesday in a 5-1 victory over Triton Regional High School at home.
Alana Vecchiarello, the team’s leading scorer, scored four goals and Sophia Becker scored a goal.
The girls’ soccer team’s next game is at Pentucket Regional High School on Thursday afternoon.
Field Hockey:
Masconomet, 3; Hamilton-Wenham 0.
The Generals (2-5-2) got a great game on defense from junior goalie Nora Lombard and a solid play by junior midfielder Julia Ferraira in its 3-0 loss at Masconomet Regional High School on Tuesday.
The field hockey team next takes on Georgetown High School on Thursday at home.
