Generals Sports Roundup: Volleyball Falls to Top Lynnfield Team, Other Games Postponed

The volleyball team lost to the undefeated squad from Lynnfield High School on Thursday afternoon while all other sports games for sports team were postponed because of the rain.

Volleyball:

Lynnfield, 3; Hamilton-Wenham, 0.

The Generals (4-7) fell in three straight games to at home on Thursday afternoon. The game scores were 12-25, 24-26 and 20-25.

Junior libero Nikki Leonard had excellent passing and Charlotte Horton, a senior captain who plays outside hitter, had 15 serves, just two misses and four aces. Senior captain Keira McGrath, a middle hitter, had five scoring blocks and served aggressively without missing one.
