Generals Youth Football A Team Holds off North Reading to Remain Undefeated

Traveling to North Reading with an unblemished record, the Hamilton-Wenham Generals youth football A team faced a tough Hornets team. Due to frigid weather and two staunch defenses, the game was scoreless at the half.

That changed in the third quarter, however, when Jimmy Littlefield burst into the Hornets’ secondary behind solid blocking from the entire team, to take an 8-0 lead after the two-point conversion.

The Hornets responded with a quick score of their own, but could not convert, leaving the score 8-6. Looking to close out the game, the Generals’ Cam Macri took off for a 55-yard TD which gave the Generals the lead for good, 16-6.
