Girls Hoops Head into Playoffs with All-Stars, All-League Players and Coach of the Year
The 12-6 girls basketball team plays it first-round playoff game at home on Thursday night.
The girls basketball team at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School team starts the Div. 3 North tournament at home on Thursday night.
The No. 6 seeded Generals take on No. 11 Watertown High School at 7 p.m. at the Regional.
The team, which finished the regular season at 12-6, finished with a 14 win over Cape Ann League rival North Reading, 48-34 after losing to the Hornets by 3 points earlier in the year and also a loss to Pentucket by 14 points.

Cassandra Fibbe was an All-League selection and Haley Willis and Sue Rose were named League All-Stars, plus coach Jon DeMarco was named Cape-Ann Large Coach of the Year, according to DeMarco.
