Half Of Hamilton Without Power

HAMILTON, MA — More than half of Hamilton is without power as power outages sweep across the North Shore during a sweltering heat wave. More than 1,600 in town are part of more than 17,000 in the North Shore without power, the large majority of whom are in Peabody and Beverly. Peabody was anticipating it would be about an hour until power is restored.

In Wenham, more than 170 are without power. That's more than 10 percent of power customers in town.
