Hamilton, Wenham Can Receive Funds to Repair Local Roads and Bridges
The award is part of the state's Winter Recovery Assistance Program.

Hamilton and Wenham have been authorized to claim $36,898 and $22,737 respectively in state road and bridge repair assistance as part of the Winter Recovery Assistance Program (WRAP).
Those are the towns’ portions of $30 million specifically aimed at helping cities and towns across the state patch potholes, cracked pavement and surface defects as well as repair or replace signs, guardrails, storm drains and line stripping damaged during the historic winter the area just experienced.
According to the MassDOT website, the dollars come from the existing 2015 bond authorization, and they were allocated to individual municipalities based on the Chapter 90 funding formula. The funds, however, are separate from Hamilton and Wenham Chapter 90 funding.
