High School's One-Act Play Headed to State Finals
The Regional's performance of its own production comes Thursday evening at the Back Bay Convention Center.
Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School’s Theatre Workshop will perform its one-act play "Static" at the state finals of the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild’s One-Act Festival on Thursday in Boston.
The Regional High School's performance at the Back Bay Convention Center at John Hancock Hall in Boston will be on Thursday, March 21 at 6 p.m.
The festival runs through the weekend.

Theatre Workshop (TW) created their original one-act play “STATIC” through a process of improvisation and collaborative script writing. Directed by Christopher Shailor, Director of Drama at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School, “STATIC” explores the issues and ethics involved in the accelerating use of robots in our society.
This past Saturday Hamilton-Wenham performed at Norwood High School in the Semi-Final round and became one of 14 schools selected to perform at the finals.

The preliminary round, held 2 weeks ago, involved 110 schools from across the state. This will be the fourth time in the past five years that Theater Workshop has advanced to the State Finals which they went on to win two times.
In addition to advancing to Finals the following students were awarded the honor of being named to the All-Star Cast:
