It's PIE IN THE SKY Time

We all are asked, especially during the holiday season, to give to charitable causes. And because most already do, we seldom ask others to contribute to causes we deem worthy.

But last year we broke that rule after discovering a truly remarkable organization and we are pleased this year to again participate with this organization and its this worthy cause.

We’re talking about COMMUNITY SERVINGS, a charity that Coldwell Banker is so impressed with that we sponsor and participate in the PIE IN THE SKY event every year.

By buying a pie or making a contribution today, you’ll help COMMUNITY SERVINGS prepare and deliver hearty and comforting meals to men and women and children in cities and towns throughout Massachusetts who are battling over 35 different types of illnesses, including HIV/AIDS, breast and other cancers, kidney disease and other life-threatening illnesses.

Each November since 1993, Boston’s best restaurants, bakeries, caterers and hotels donate thousands of pies that over 700 volunteers then sell to family, friends and colleagues. Each pie costs $28, providing a week’s worth of hearty home-delivered meals to a Community Servings’ client and a tasty Thanksgiving treat to the buyer.

Thanks to the dedication and generosity of pie sellers and volunteers, $.93 of every $1.00 goes directly to feeding Community Servings’ clients.
