Jeep Fatally Strikes North Shore Man; Driver Charged With DUI

A Salisbury woman has been charged after police say she hit the pedestrian in New Hampshire near the Massachusetts border Sunday night.

SEABROOK, NH — A Salisbury man was killed in New Hampshire when he was struck by a Jeep near the Massachusetts border, police said, and the woman behind the wheel has been charged with driving under the influence.

Andrew Dobson, 51, was struck Sunday night on Route 1A in Seabrook. He was rushed to Portsmouth Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Dawn Marie Barcellona, 57, of Salisbury was arrested at the scene, police said. She was charged with negligent homicide-driving under the influence, negligent homicide, and driving under the influence in an aggravated collision with serious injury. She was scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
