Join Acord at the Project Bread Walk for Hunger

The Project Bread Walk for Hunger takes place on Sunday, May 3, 2015 in Boston and the Acord Food Pantry has a team taking part.

The Walk for Hunger is a powerful demonstration of neighbors helping neighbors. The Walk brings together people from many different communities but everyone comes to offer hope to hungry people and to support Project Bread’s fresh approach to ending hunger: programs that help to provide access to healthy, nutritious food to those in need. Because the opposite of hungry isn’t full, it’s healthy.

Project Bread raises money for, and invests in, programs that make a difference in our communities such as local food initiatives and community supported agriculture (CSA) programs. Project Bread supports the Acord Food Pantry through grants on an annual basis.
