Working off The Community House’s guiding principle “We’re Better Together”, the Town of Hamilton and the joint Recreation Department collaborated with The Community House to create a blast of a Community event!
FIREWORKS!
The Community Block Party will commence at 4pm with a bike parade and covered wagon contest. The parade will begin at the First United Methodist Church on 1A and head west to Patton Park. The covered wagon contest will be sponsored by the Wenham Museum in commemoration of our local history. On December 3, 1797, the first covered wagon from Massachusetts set forth from Hamilton for the west.

“We are very excited about the changes we have made to The Community Block Party – we have merged this event with our traditional Two Town Fourth of July to create a bigger and better community wide patriotic celebration open to all. Admission is free and fireworks hosted by The Town of Hamilton will certainly contribute to a very exciting event! The Community House is proud to collaborate with our Town for this spectacular event – when collaborations are formed, great things happen. This event is proof that ‘We’re Better Together!’” Executive Director, Melissa Elmer
“I think it is going to be a fantastic event and am thrilled to have so many local civic organizations participating. It truly is a Community Block Party and I hope everyone comes out to help us celebrate and enjoy the fun!” Tess Leary, Event Planner
