NEW! Before and after school child care program at The Community House
The Community House is very excited to announce the launch of The Kids Community @ 284! This new program, owned and managed by The Community House, will offer expanded before and after school child care options for local families with children in grades K-5. Registration is now open, and the new program will open in August 2019.
The Kids Community @284 is more than childcare. It is a child enrichment program where children will be engaged in a fun learning environment where lessons and activities based on STEAM curriculum, homework support, and private lessons in the arts are offered daily. Special programs offered throughout the school year will include yoga, cooking, photography, martial arts, music and theater arts. The Community House believes in supporting the whole family through this program and special family events will be held to bring The Kids Community @ 284 together.
The program will be under the direction of Tracey Sacco, a 6th generation Hamiltonian. Tracey attended Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School and graduated with the class of 2005 and received her bachelor’s in child development from Mount Ida College. As a teenager, she babysat and spent her summers as a counselor at Pingree Experience Day Camp and through adulthood has worked in daycare, as a nanny, and as an ABA therapist with special needs children. Tracey and her husband, Aaron, reside in Hamilton with their one-year old son, Dylan.

Tracey’s love and appreciation for her community, compassion for children, and commitment to education will be reflected in the quality of service offered and the personal connections built with each family.
“As a teacher and program director, my philosophy is to offer a caring, safe, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow while exploring their world. It is important to model respect, sharing, cooperation, and teamwork throughout the day. The values that we model each day have the most positive impact on a student’s learning experience which we hope contributes to a positive lifelong impact as well. As each child learns differently, our staff team will ensure all students are offered a variety of teaching strategies which always incorporates creativity, cooperation, and fun.” Tracey Sacco, Program Director
