To Whom It May Concern:
On behalf of my Grade 11 Wellness classes, I want to thank Appleton Farms for the wonderful learning experience they provided us on our recent field trip. Caroline Rouillard, who was our guide, was articulate and extremely knowledgeable. She educated us on such concepts as sustainability, CSA, carbon footprint and a multitude of information about farming. We also want to thank the farm for providing us with a “surprise” bag of food. The HWRHS kitchen staff prepared the food for our “feast” so we could sample a variety of products made on the farm.

We are fortunate to have such a great resource as Appleton Farms only a walk away from the high school.
Thank you again for the educational opportunity we received while navigating beyond the walls of the school.
