Local Students Earn Degree at New Haven, Dean's List at Merrimack

Local Residents Graduate From Emory University

ATLANTA - The following received a degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., at its 168th commencement ceremony.

Elizabeth Pruett of Hamilton received a Bachelor of Arts from Emory College of Arts and Sciences of Emory University on May 13, 2013.

Sara Millimet of Wenham received a Master of Public Health from the Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University on May 13, 2013.

Area Students Named to Colby College Dean's List

WATERVILLE, Maine - Area students were named to the Dean's List at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for their outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2012-13 year.

Kate E. Ober, a member of the Class of 2016, is the daughter of Theodore and Kimberly Ober of Hamilton and attended Pingree School.

Elizabeth J. Woodbury, a member of the Class of 2015, is the daughter of Robert and Catherine Woodbury of Hamilton and attended Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School.

Students whose grade point averages were 3.7 or higher were named to the Dean's List.

Local Residents Named to Dean's List at the Savannah College of Art and Design 

SAVANNAH, Georgia - Local residents have been named to the Dean's List at the Savannah College of Art and Design for spring quarter 2013. Full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the quarter receive recognition on the Dean's List.

Local residents include:

Sean Doonan of South Hamilton Graduates from Hofstra University

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - Sean Doonan of Hamilton graduated in May 2013 from Hofstra University with a BA in Drama. Sean was among more than 2,000 undergraduate, graduate and law students who celebrated completing their studies at commencement ceremonies in the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.

Meredith Swanson of South Hamilton Named to the University of Hartford Dean's List 

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The University of Hartford is pleased to announce Meredith Swanson of Hamilton has been named to its Dean's List for Spring 2013.

Coastal Carolina University Welcomes the Class of 2017

CONWAY, S.C. - Coastal Carolina University welcomes the Class of 2017. Over 2,200 first-year students have enrolled in CCU for the Fall 2013 semester. Before classes begin in August, all new first-year students will visit campus for a two-day orientation program where they will meet their academic advisors and learn what is expected of them as they transition from high school to college, including Matthew Andre of Hamilton and Benjamin Kozlowski of Wenham. 

Local Students Named to Dean's List at Merrimack College

NORTH ANDOVER - The following local students were recently named to the Merrimack College Spring 2013 Semester Dean's List:

Kassandra Martin, of Hamilton, a Senior at the College.

Alessandro Eramo, of Wenham, a Sophomore at the College.

Dean's List students are so designated having earned a GPA of 3.25 or better based on a 4.0 grading system.

Dorothy Brennick of Hamilton Earns a Degree from the University of New Haven 

WEST HAVEN, Conn. - Dorothy Brennick of Hamilton graduated from the University of New Haven in May 2013 with a B.A. in Interior Design.
