Monday, April 1

• A fire alarm activation at the Hamilton Housing Authority on Railroad Avenue at 12:16 a.m. was caused by an accidental activation or defective alarm.

• Mutual aid was provided to the Topsfield Police at 3:40 a.m.

• A fire call was handled at Pingree School for blasting at 7:02 a.m.

• A disabled vehicle was assisted at 7:05 a.m. on Bay Road.

• Vehicles were illegally parked on Orchard Road at 11:58 a.m.

• Directions were given out at 1:14 p.m.

• The Department of Public Works was called at 1:15 p.m. to respond to a Walnut Road address.

• A pistol permit was given out at the police station at 1:19 p.m.

• An animal call was handled at Aquila Farm on Bay Road at 3:33 p.m.

• Somebody was transported to the hospital after an ambulance call to an Alan Road address at 4:06 p.m.               

• A report was filed at 5:27 p.m. about a runaway child or child in need of services on Pine Tree Drive.

• An animal call was handled on Western Avenue at 7:12 p.m.

• Assistance was rendered at a Lee Park address at 8:58 p.m.

• A report was filed at 10:21 p.m. about harassing telephone calls at a Berrywood Lane address.

Tuesday, April 2

• A fire call was handled at a Linden Street address at 9:50 a.m.

• A written warning was issued after a car stop on Essex Street at 12:28 p.m.

• The Fire Department handled a fire call at Willow and Mill streets at 12:48 p.m.

• A disabled vehicle was assisted at 1:01 p.m. on Bay Road just after Harrigan’s Package Store.

• A lost and found call was handled at the police station at 2:13 p.m.

• Information was given out about a fire call at Maple and Park streets at 2:40 p.m.

• An animal call was handled on Fox Run Road at 5:21 p.m.

• A report was written after services were rendered on Savoy Road at 6:38 p.m.

• A door or window was found open at 9:05 p.m. at the Recreation Center on Union Street.

• Assistance was rendered at the station at 9:16 p.m.

Wednesday, April 3

• An animal call was handled at a Bay Road address at 11:22 a.m.

• Assistance was rendered at 11:30 a.m. at the station.

• Information was given out while rendering assistance at the station at 11:34 a.m.

• Animal control was called for an animal call at a Lake Drive address at 11:54 a.m.

• A fire alarm activation on Asbury Street at 12:10 p.m. was caused by an accidental activation or defective alarm.

• The utility company was notified at 12:52 p.m. about hazards at a Maple Street address.

• An alarm went off at a Partridgeberry Lane address at 2:19 p.m.               

• Animal control was called for an animal call at Hamilton Bookkeeping on Bay Road at 3:13 p.m.

• A car crash at 3:16 p.m. at the intersection of Asbury and Bay roads was investigated.

• A fire was extinguished at an Essex Street address at 10:33 a.m.

• A call for assistance at the station at 10:39 a.m. was referred to another agency.

• A fire alarm activation at Black Cow on Bay Road at 11:49 a.m. was caused by an accidental activation or defective alarm.               

• A summons was issued at the police station at 1 p.m. A 35-year-old Lynn man was issued a summons for subsequent offense of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and motor vehicle operator refusing to identify self.

• A call about a suspicious person on Bay Road at 2:23 p.m. was given to Hamilton police.

• Animal control was called for an animal call on Western Avenue at 2:58 p.m.

• Somebody was transported to the hospital after an ambulance call to Pingree School at 3:48 p.m.

• A ticket was issued after a car stop on Bay Road at 5:34 p.m.

• A written warning was issued after a car stop on Bay Road at 7:36 p.m.

• A verbal warning was issued at 7:52 p.m. after a car stop on Highland Street.

• A written warning was issued after a car stop on Bay Road at 7:54 p.m.
