MA Teen Dies In Maine Snowmobile Crash

AMESBURY, MA — An Amesbury teen was killed in a snowmobile crash in Maine over the weekend, the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife said. Troy Marden, 17, died Saturday night when his snowmobile crashed in the Thompson Lake area known as "The Heath."

Marden was with another snowmobiler who tried to aid him before getting help. Marden was pronounced dead at the scene.

Marden was a senior at Amesbury High, where he wore No. 48 on the football team.

The crash was Maine's fifth snowmobile fatality this season, officials said.
