Mandatory Water Restriction in Hamilton

Water use is limited.

Officials in Hamilton declared a mandatory water ban, effective June 25.

For three consecutive days, the Ipswich River fell below levels necessary to protect stream flow for aquatic life and to ensure a sustainable drinking water supply.

All outside mechanical watering is prohibited.  Hand held watering only between the hours of 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.  These restrictions require that residents limit all non-essential water use.
