'Missing' 9-Year-Old Found at Neighbor's Home, Marijuana Arrest

10:33 p.m. A well-being check was requested at an Asbury Street address but the person was gone when officers arrived.

11:06 p.m. A suspicious vehicle at Moynihan and Woodside roads was gone when officers arrived.

Saturday, April 21

1 a.m. A verbal warning was issued after a car stop on Bay Road.

1:17 a.m. A criminal complaint was issued after a car stop at Highland and Linden streets.

3:16 a.m. Police checked on a suspicious person in the parking lot at the Shoppes at Hamilton Crossing and the . The man, [Name Removed], 19, of Hamilton, was arrested and charged with possession of a class D drug, marijuana, with the intent to distribute. He was released on $1,000 cash bail and scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday in Ipswich District Court in Newburyport.

10:39 a.m. An animal call was handled at a Bay Road address.

11:16 a.m. A verbal warning was issued after a car stop on Bay Road.

11:21 a.m. Hazards were reported on Bay Road.

11:55 a.m. The animal inspector was notified after an animal call on Bay Road.

12:14 p.m. An animal call was handled on Asbury Street.

2:27 a.m. A possible break-in was reported at a Howard Street address. A broken window was reported on a home but nothing was reported taken, police said. It remains under investigation by Sgt. Stephen Walsh.
