No Earthquake-related Incidents Reported Locally
A magnitude 5.9 earthquake in Virginia on Tuesday afternoon was felt as far north as the Boston area but no damage or incidents were reported in the two towns.

Local emergency crews say that nobody reported any incidents related to an earthquake in Virginia on Tuesday afternoon.
The and both said they had received no calls related to the earthquake, which occurred at about 2 p.m.
Locally, first responders said they heard about the quake the same way many others did – from the news, since it had little or no impact on the two towns.

At Seabrook Station in New Hampshire, about 25 miles north of Hamilton, the earthquake did not affect the plant.
Plant Spokesman Al Griffith on the earthquake: "Absolutely no impact at all to Seabrook Station operations." He said, "all of our operations here are normal."
