Overnight Vehicle Break-ins Reported in Hamilton

Several vehicles were broken into overnight Monday on the east end of Hamilton.

said they are investigating four break-ins that were reported late Monday night and on Tuesday in “East Hamilton,” along Essex Street near the Essex town line.

“There was forced entry and some were unlocked,” said Hamilton Police Lt. Scott Janes.

Janes said police won’t release exactly what was taken or the value of the stolen items since it is part of an ongoing investigation. He said some of the items were of value.

Janes said he’s not sure if there may have been more break-ins that will discovered later.
