Eighty-five customers are without power in Wenham, according to National Grid.
The Wenham Police Department reports that the outage is concentrated in the Parsons Hill Road area and began about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
According to the police department’s page on Facebook, National Grid has workers on the scene, but the utility may have underestimated how long it will take to restore power. Originally, police said National Grid estimated restoration within four to five hours.
“National Grid on scene at the power outage on Parsons Hill Road, unknown how long before they will get the problem fixed,” reads a post on the Wenham PD Facebook page. “It seems it will be longer than the first reported 4-5 hours.”
