Pingree High Football Player Commits to UConn

Nino Leone, a senior at South Hamilton’s Pingree School, is headed to the University of Connecticut to play football as part of the Class of 2016.

An announcement on the UConn Football blog describes Leone as a “massive offensive lineman,” and said he was the seventh member of the football team’s class of 2016.

According to the blog, Leone is a 6-foot-5, 340-pound two-sport athlete. He plays both football and basketball at Pingree.

Leone wears No. 55, according to the team’s posted roster.
