Power Out for a Time in Hamilton Monday Afternoon
More than half the electric customers in Hamilton lost power on Monday afternoon.
Electric power went out for a short time on Monday afternoon in Hamilton during gusty winds.
Hamilton emergency crews were with a downed wires at Bridge Street and Miles River Road, althought National Grid couldn’t immediately confirm whether that caused the outage.
At the peak at about 3:45 p.m., more than half of the electric customers in Hamilton were without power.

By 4:45 p.m., power was back to most of those customers. About 472 of Hamilton’s 3,073 electric customers were still without power. National Grid estimated power would be restored to all customers by 5:15 p.m.
In Wenham, DPW Director Bill Tyack said there were no rain or wind-related damage or problems reported.
