Where/When: Lynch Park, 55 Ober St., Beverly; Saturday, 11 a.m.

Why Go: Easter is two weeks away and a childhood tradition every spring is to take part in an Easter egg hunt. There will be more coming up in the next few weeks, but here’s one in a scenic seaside location. Netcast Church is sponsoring this hunt, with hundreds of eggs all over the park.

3.

Why Go: One of the little artistic treasures in the two towns in the True North Gallery in Hamilton, which on Saturday opens its doors for an opening reception for its spring exhibit “Rabbit! Rabbit! 4.

Where/When: Cape Ann Waldorf School campus at Moraine Farm, 701 Cabot St., Beverly; Saturday, 4 p.m.

Why Go:  Anybody who has been to the Topsfield Fair knows the popularity of beekeeping on the North Shore – the beekeeping building is also a popular place to visit at the fair. Now, an award-winning documentary on beekeeping will be shown at the Cape Ann Waldorf School, which last summer moved in to its new home at Moraine Farm in North Beverly, off Route 97 just over the line from Wenham. After the film, local beekeepers and ecologists will be on hand for a discussion.

Pricing: Suggested donation of $10 per person or $15 total per family

5. ‘SYNCHRO IS MAGICAL’ SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING SHOW

Where/When: YMCA of the North Shore Sterling Center, 254 Essex St., Beverly; Sunday, 4 p.m.

Why Go: The North Shore YMCA Selkies synchronized swim team, which includes some members from Hamilton and Wenham, put on their annual show at the Y in Beverly. For most of us, we’re only casually familiar with the sport and typically only see it ever four years in the Olympics. Here’s a chance to see it up close and personal and see some local athletes perform.

Pricing: adults $7, $5 for over 55 and under 5
